What Remains was born as a path of gathering and transformation: a journey through the gestures, impressions, and traces left by the people we encounter.
Each gesture captured through encounter becomes a living material that enters the dancer’s body, intertwines with it, transforms it, and takes shape in unexpected ways.

The research focuses on what remains and on what emerges through contact.

The project is grounded in the awareness that the body is always a plural body: a keeper of invisible inheritances, crossed by presences, influences, and memories that guide and transform us.

We are part of a collective that accompanies us, touches us, and shapes us. The information we accumulate interacts continuously, sometimes colliding and generating frictions that open new possibilities for movement and meaning.

At the core of the research are a series of questions that act as a compass:

What remains of us in others?
What would I want to bring to light, among all that I have been or wished to be?
What is born in the space between holding on and letting go?
What persists from the encounters that have passed through us?

What Remains explores the memory of the body as a porous and shifting place, where traces emerge, disappear, and return transformed. Through movement, the work seeks to bring these silent presences back to the surface, allowing them to live again in new forms.
