FALENA is a fragile yet resilient presence, drawn to what shines while at the same time fearful of its intensity; it moves forward through attempts, tremors, and openings.

Metamorphosis becomes the texture of its movement.

 

From the compact body of the larva emerges a life that slowly unfolds, learning to stretch, to listen, to risk its own momentum: a vibration that holds back desire, an expansion that brushes against the light, a folding inward that welcomes fear.

 

As it moves through space, the moth contracts, turns, defends itself when it senses a threat, and reaches outward when something calls to it.
